3. Purposes of processing and related legal bases

Personal Data collected through Kedels.com may be processed for the purposes indicated below.

3.1 Browsing and operation of the Site

Personal Data may be processed to enable the proper operation of the Site, verify its performance and collect statistical information, including in anonymous or aggregated form, relating to the use of Kedels.com.

The legal basis of the processing is, depending on the processing carried out, the legitimate interest of the Controller pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or the User’s consent when required by applicable law.

The Controller’s legitimate interest consists in ensuring the proper operation, security and progressive improvement of the Site.

The provision of browsing data is normally connected with use of the Site. Disabling certain cookies or technologies may result in some features being unavailable.

Data relating to this purpose will not be retained for longer than 36 months and may be deleted or aggregated before that term, without prejudice to any retention obligations or requests from competent authorities.

Further information is available in the Cookie Policy of Kedels.com.

3.2 Handling of information and support requests

Users may contact B2Stock to obtain information, request assistance, or submit requests relating to quotes, orders, products or services.

Processing is carried out on the basis of the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Provision of the necessary data is essential to enable B2Stock to handle the request. Without such information it may not be possible to provide a response.

Personal Data used to handle requests will be deleted within 2 years from the conclusion of the related matter, without prejudice to any further legal obligations.

Provision of the data required for registration is necessary to create and use the account.

Data will be retained for as long as the account remains active. For technical reasons, some information may be kept in the systems for a maximum of 30 days after account deletion.

B2Stock also reserves the right to periodically verify the User’s interest in maintaining the account in the event of a prolonged period of inactivity and may delete inactive accounts, after giving notice where required.

The User may amend and update their data through the features available in the account.

3.4 Management of purchases and orders

Personal Data are processed to enable the User to purchase the products available on Kedels.com and to allow B2Stock to manage the order and fulfil the resulting contractual obligations.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and of the contract to which the data subject is party, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Provision of the requested data is necessary to conclude and perform the purchase. If the data are not provided, B2Stock may be unable to process or finalise the order.

Data will be retained for the period necessary to perform the contract and, thereafter, within the limitation periods and retention obligations provided by applicable law, generally up to 10 years, except where longer retention is needed for legal defence.

3.5 Cart recovery and incomplete purchases

If a User adds one or more products to the cart without completing the purchase, B2Stock may use the User’s email address to remind them of the products in the cart or to check whether they need further information to complete the order.

That interest consists in facilitating the completion of a purchase procedure already started by the User.

The data subject may object to the processing at any time by contacting [email protected]. Objection will not have negative consequences for the User.

Data will be retained solely for the period necessary to pursue the purpose indicated above.

The legal basis of the processing is the data subject’s consent, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time by using the unsubscribe link in promotional communications or by writing to [email protected].

Unless consent is withdrawn earlier, data processed for this purpose may be retained for a maximum of 5 years.

The legal basis is the Controller’s legitimate interest, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, consisting in assessing and improving the quality of the products and services offered and the level of customer satisfaction.

Participation is optional.

Data collected for this purpose may be retained for a maximum of 5 years and subsequently anonymised or aggregated.

Personal Data may be processed to handle complaints, disputes and data subjects’ requests as well as to establish, exercise or defend B2Stock’s rights in extra-judicial or judicial proceedings.

Processing may be based on the performance of contractual or pre-contractual obligations, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and on the Controller’s legitimate interest in protecting its rights, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The legal basis is the Controller’s legitimate interest, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, in managing and carrying out such transactions.

Data retained solely for this purpose will be deleted when they are no longer necessary in relation to the transaction concerned, without prejudice to any legal obligations.

4. Data retention and minimisation principles

B2Stock applies the minimisation principle provided by the GDPR and periodically verifies the need to retain Personal Data.

Data will not be retained for longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, unless longer retention is required by law or is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a right.

When the purposes of processing have been exhausted, B2Stock will, as appropriate, delete the data or anonymise them in such a way that the data subject can no longer be identified.

Kedels.com may include buttons, icons or links relating to social platforms such as, by way of example, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok or other services.

These elements allow the User to reach, with a simple click, the accounts or social pages attributable to B2Stock/Kedels.com.
